I've been here few times. Always friendly service and nice food. It's very nice to be here to have a quick drink or break. Small plates are always good. Wine is also nice. Especially staff service is always good and cool !! I was happy here. Strongly recommend you to be here.
I went to this restaurant hoping for a delicious and satisfying meal, but I was disappointed by the food. It was quite expensive for what it was, and it lacked flavor and freshness. The service was good and attentive, but the place was so loud that I could barely hear my companion. It was an OK experience, but nothing to write home about. I don't think I will be coming back anytime soon, given that the food was not extraordinary and the price was quite high.
The cacio e pepe was sooo amazing and they spin the pasta around in the wheel in front of you when they serve it! Very friendly service as well, they sell a lot of wine which would go very well with cheese Recommended dishesCacio E Pepe
I went for the popular cacio and pepe pasta and I was a bit disappointed with the serving size. Also the pasta was stone cold and a little bit on the raw side. Apart from that, there is a good selection of wines and antipastos to choose from. The restaurant is quite small and cosy, ideal for an intimate dinner. Pricing on the high end side - if the servings were more generous it would be worth a second visit.
Mouthwatering Italian food to rave home about. The pasta here is served very al-dente, as it is in Italy, and is perfectly seasoned. You have to order the caccio e Pepe, but everything on their menu is delicious. Highly recommend to take advantage of their specials - the Fratelli is a must-try light and crisp savoury donut with truffle honey and Parmesan. Next order the scamorza - caramelised grilled aged cheese that stretches for miles and melts in your mouth. Then ask for the house made chilli sauce to pair with your pasta. The staff and owners were lovely. Dear ‘Pedro’ and Marcello, we will be back!
Food was good but the service was not nice at all. They were rushing us to eat, no interaction and cold people. The place is nice and seems cosy but we did not feel at ease. Cacio e Pepe pasta were delicious.
Love this place. Love the food. Love the staff. Just had a savory donut thing last night, one of my favorite things I've eaten! But the subtle pastas and mozzarella dishes are what you keep coming back for. Enjoy!
Update 2022 - as this place isn’t as popular as few years back with so many new pasta spots in town. But that’s a good thing - easier to make a booking even walk-in. And the food and service are still amazing. This is how you tell its a good restaurant. Great place with nice people. Great pasta and wine. Just few items on the menu tho.
just look at that pecorino cheese wheel the cacio e pepe served straight from the cheese wheel had the perfect balance of cheese and flavour, with a kick of pepper the tomato and chilli pasta was also a favourite, with a very interesting pasta shape and a nice hit of spice this was also my first time trying burrata, and it was such a hit! its surprisingly similar to butter as its more liquidy than cheese, but still had a nice salty cheesy taste. especially on that nice soft sourdough bread, it was amazing and i couldn't help but get a glass of rosé too haha! check out my food instagram @erinxeats for more!
Definitely a ‘must go’ for Italian/pasta lovers across Sydney. The place itself is actually really small with around 10 tables at least that we could see. With that said, it doesn’t feel cramped at all, so the atmosphere is nice. As far as the food is concerned, absolutely on point. Some the best I have had. The menu is small, but every dish seems to have been perfected. Yes, they also serve the pasta directly from a cheese wheel. The staff were also really friendly. Perfect score.
