This was amazing!! I felt like I had momentarily been whisked away to a quaint Italian town, loved hearing the regulars chatting away in Italian over their wine and pizza. The place was so busy by 12pm but we were so lucky to get a table for 8 sorted out in the back for a work team lunch. The food was perfect, garlic bread and bruschetta for the table. We ordered a mix of pizza on national pizza day, naturally pasta and salad. It's BYOB, so you can pick up your drinks beforehand, charged $3.50pp. Absolute gem, can't wait to make this my regular.
Hard to get a booking at this place but food here is so authentic and so cosy. Pizza's here are thin base, love it! Can't go wrong with pasta and always love coming back here. Prices are also reasonable also.
Great neighbourhood favourite. Pizzas are very thin crust loaded with toppings. Pastas are huge portions. I suggest sharing a salad and a main course between 2 look at my picture of the lettuce and tomato salad!. No longer licensed, so BYO with a fair corkage fee. I order the Pelligrino Chinotto with my pizza. Often very busy and congested entry area. Seems they’re still getting up to full staff since Covid. Back patio nice and private, 2 sidewalk tables out front. I like that they bring grated parmigiano to the table as we love to sprinkle a few spoons on the hot pizza. Beware the chili- it is surprisingly strong!! Considering the portions it gets a full five stars for value. I find the new LED lights on the back patio quite stark, and inside is also very bright for those of us who can’t read menus by candlelight. Service is friendly and efficient. Bathrooms have been modernized and have lots of mothballs. There were sanitizer pumps everywhere as well.
so good! Family Italian business. the food was so good reminds us of the food in Italy very friendly service too! we'll go back when next in Sydney not very expensive either
Such a surprise when I walked in this restaurant with a small door , inside the decoration is showing it’s Italian gene. The food is so nice and you won’t miss any opportunities to come back again
The nicest staff! Don't forget to grab a bottle before you visit although there's a great wine store nearby. I guess I should mention the food was delicious too!
Absolutely loved it! The food is fantastic, great staff, great atmosphere. You need to bring your own drinks through since they don't serve alcohol. One of my top reccomndations in Sydney. Go for it!
Very busy and vibrant spot for lunch. Lovely food as always. Good service.Food: 4/5
Love this old school Italian resto Great services yummy food with consistent qualityand without weekend surcharge is another bonus Thanks for the happy meals here
Solid Italian venue with some really tasty food. Staff were very friendly and had a passion for their food - would visit again. We got the $35pp set menu; would recommend avoiding the set menu unless you’ve got a pretty massive appetite as you’ll get better value for money without it. It’s hard not to get filled up on the earlier courses - didn’t end up with much room for the pizza. Gets very noisy in the back section - it was hard to talk to the person next to you and we were all 20-30 year olds.
