Big Poppa’s is the ideal meeting place after dark. Upstairs provides a nice restaurant seating space, while downstairs is a discreet space with a separate bar and cozy booths. The menu is fresh simple Italian food and there’s an extensive drinks and cheese list

Very nice attached especially the basement level not sure what they call it. Food was very pleasant, cocktails were very good and staff was nice and friendly. Would definitely recommend it

Came here for the Chef’s Selection of Cheese and good ol’ carbs lovingly made in the form of pasta. If you’re into cheese, wine, cocktail and dancing in a hip hop club to burn it all off, then you’ve come to the right place!

The pasta is to die for!!! Cooked perfectly and so delicious. The bread was also so good. Loved the ambience and the staff were amazing!

Love it here. Good staff and security. Food is really good and some wines on the list wine sommeliers at chef's hats restaurants haven't heard of and are intrigued as was I. Vegetarian options: Lots of options small plates and large including pasta. Dietary restrictions: Kitchen will accommodate for requests.

So happy that Big Poppas is still amazing. Polished service, great vibe, verrry solid wine list and best of all, the food is still awesome and really well priced. It's an institution and I hope its around forever.

Cocktails are good, food is alright. Downstairs turns into a great club after 10ish. Hip hop music.

great ambience unfortunately got seated next to a super loud group of ladies cocktails were delicious, burrata was nice but on the sweet side Ragu was very fatty

Thank you for some amazing food, cocktails and overall service! We had a lovely waitress Michelle who gave us some amazing recommendations including garlic prawns, burrata, lamb pasta and eggplant dish. My definite highlights were the garlic prawns and burrata and the sauce on the pasta was amazing as well. We paired our dishes with some delicious cocktails and definitely stayed past our sit in time but our waitress kindly moved us to the bar so we could continue sipping on a few more drinks!

Been twice now for a late night cheese feast and I will be back. Absolutely love this venue, such great ambience and a quirky concept. Loved the chef's selection and the gnocchi too. Also banger music playing the whole time. Staff were lovely.
