I had a rental car from them for 3 months. The whole process went smoothly, and they were friendly and helpful. I had a Renault, the french cars are a bit weird, but I got used to it after a while and grew to like it.

What a ballz up this place was, we had a booking for 8am. We arrive with plenty of time to fill out paperwork. 8 am store front not open 9still waiting. So we ring head office, they advise just wait an hour. So helpful NOT. We had a appointment at 10 so we are forced to go elsewhere. We keep trying to contact them well someone finally answer the phone at 1.30pm then once again so helpful NOT, rude even. Great way to run a business. We wouldn't recommend these guys  ever Malcome and Carole Birtles-Crute

I have always used these guys for hiring any cars or trucks.  I have even had these guys organise a car for me in Melbourne and Adelaide both times it was fantastic. Great job guys keep it up.

We phoned Budget requesting a 2 tonne truck. When we went to pick up the vehicle presented well with full tank We were charged  $800.00 Bond instead of the $400.00 we were advised. They also charged the full 29c per kilometre for excessive usage. we advised Budget we were travelling nominal 1900 klm This is an extra $500.00 for two day rental. I understand we had to accept this, regardless of how steep the charge is The fuel efficiency was at least 23-25ltr per 100klms. Thats 475 Ltrs at price petrol was $1.188 to $1.33 per ltrs It cost $540.00 to fuel this thing. Budget thinks that the truck is designed for short distances and that it is only rated to 900Kgs. It is a joke they would have an Isuzu 2 tonne that is so thirsty. I think Budget should assess what they are doing to the hip pocket and the environment. The Truck should be taken off the road.  Last note I am advised to wait 5 days to get the Bond back. Strange when they took the bond instantly.  Disgruntled

We hired a truck on Sunday - were explained to from Jayden? To make sure that we return it full of diesel - make sure we keep filling after it first clicks off which we did - it was lapping at the brim ... we were going to take a photo of it - only wish we did then get rung on Monday and told that their detailer had to put in another 12 litres in  @ $3.00 per litre I might add on top of the 15.84 litres that we had already put in -   27:84 litres of diesel for 88 km’s????? -  Jayden? Looked at the fuel gauge when we dropped it back and saw that it was over the FULL mark -   Said that was great!  After their phone call we suggested they should make sure the detailer had the correct truck  - Was then told to KEEP IN TOUCH and proceeded to charge our  credit card! - don’t  investigate .... and didn’t even call us back - Good way to do business!  My recommendation would be firstly get them to take the truck over to their diesel pump and watch then fill it to the very top and then take delivery of it and when you return it full take a photo of it lapping at the brim and of the gauge itself .. or simply not use Budget at all  I just wish I had read others reviews first because clearly this is the way they operated.

I ordered a car online and walked a long way to pick it up but he would not let me have the car.  If you are a New Zealanders you should avoid this company as he will not let you have a car because we do not have an address on licenses in NZ. Has been the case for about 10 years. He was very unhelpful and gave the most patronising fake apology. I offered to show him invoices on in my email on my phone which had an  address or a photo of my passport but he would not except it. I tried calling Budget themselves but they said it was up to the individual pickup location and were unable to help.  I ended up walking around the corner to Avis and I got fantastic service and a car on the spot. T

Affordable prices, friendly staff, clean and good trucks.  Even when I returned the truck when they were closing at 5:30, the lady reminded me to refuel and waited an extra 10 minutes to close.  Really appreciated it.  Will be back!!

Quan I believe his name was from Capalaba. Has Attempted to add additional charges in excess of $1000.. that was then rectified by head office Then attempted to insinuate the needle being on "Full" is not full and we would encounter further charges for fuel. I filled the car up full at the Caltex on the same road. Its people like this that remind me, just how low the quality of our human species really is. will never suggest or use them again.

Krystal is the rudest most patronising women i have ever met. She belittled us and made us feel stupid when asking how much the car hire is. She said "60 ish" i asked "60 what?" And Krystal would say "oh? You want it in cents ?" Rude woman, really made us feel uncomfortable and never wanting to hire from budget cars ever again.

Friendly staff with a quick and easy transaction. Effortless to hire a truck and the staff explained all of the necessary information on the spot. Very happy with the staff and the truck.  Will be coming back.
