A view and location unsurpassed in Hobart for relaxing with friends. Choice of food was good with, great flavour. This had been my second time to this place, on both occasions now the service had been abysmal, did not feel welcomed at all. It seemed to be an imposition on staff to render service, when they did, nothing about their tone of voice or body language suggested they missed the Customer Service aspect of their training!  If you want good customer service go to McDonald's, if you want a view the this would be the second best place to go. The best would be the Glass House restaurant on the next level up!

I'm a local and the two stars are for the view/location only.  The service was very average....it took some time after we sat down for a menue and water to be brought over to us and it was not a busy time.  We were not asked by the waiter or the girl who took our payment how our meals  were.  If asked I would have told them that the burger buns tasted stale and were drippng with whatever was on the fries.  It was hard to know if the food we were served was actually what we ordered as the description did not appear to match what we were served.  The food was the worst Ive eaten for sometime and $88 for two burgers one pasta dish and coffee was certainly over priced...... Such a shame as its a fabulous location....wont be back.

Five star views! It's hard to find a waterfront cafe in Hobart, this one is great! Nice local cafe food, friendly service. Will be back again!

I wish there was a zero star rating
Went here with my wife on a relatively busy day 

Waited over 1 hr to get my palm sized burcher muesli (def not worth its price tag) and my pregnant wife had to wait 1.5 hrs for her eggs on toast where the eggs were not cooked through (even though we mentioned they needed to be because she was pregnant) so it had to be returned. 
They said they would send another plate and this took another half hr (how long does it take to make eggs on toast?? ) - it eventually arrived and had soggy toast and mushrooms 

Worst restaurant in Hobart - avoid.
