Reasonable quality items and service. Some items should never been purchased full price as they are on special with huge discounts up to 50% or even 60% quite often. Some other items are never on special and are carefully removed from the shop before storewide discounts are advertised.  Once you learn how to play that game, you may end up purchasing quality goods that last.

I have waited for over 20 minutes on the phone just now with no answer from anyone. The last call after more than 10 minutes to the Salisbury store I was asked to disconnect and try again. I tried 2 other stores and waited for approximately 2-3 minutes- no answer.nI used one star as there was no minus rating

Love this store. If there is a sale on I always come herenStaff are helpful although few and far between and they are always under pressure.

Great store and great sale. Plenty of options to choose from. Well stocked and set out. Recommend.

The older woman who work here are not empathetic at all. They dont smile, they dont listen very well and just look like they dont want to be here. As you are in a customer service role your mannerism is very alarming. Life is too short. I would rather shop somewhere where I am not treated coldly and with lack of respect. Briscoes Papanui staff are very friendly and warm and make you feel like a valued customer and as a human being! I will take my patronage there.
