I took my child to Dr Linnet after getting what felt like bad advice at another dentist - who terrified my child. Dr Linnet and her amazing staff have worked to build my child’s confidence so successfully that she now looks forward to visits (for the stickers). Expert, cautious approach to doing work, very matter of fact, supportive and works thoroughly and holistically to improve dental outcomes.

The most caring staff ever. I can recommend this practice even for the most timid child. Thank you Doctor Vivienne

I took my 12 month old to see Dr Vivienne around five months ago and she recommended that we book him in for tooth extractions as soon as possible. I was in tears when I walked out as I felt there was no sensitivity at all in the way I was spoken to or treated (I was also encouraged quite bluntly to stop breastfeeding). Needless to say I sought two further opinions (both encouraged NOT to extract at this stage). The dentist my son is seeing now through the public system (most recently today) has advised that extractions are still not necessary and may not ever be. His teeth have actually remineralized and the minor signs of decay on his teeth have not progressed. He would be toothless if I had taken Dr Vivienne's advice...quite a drastic step to take for such a young child. Please seek second opinions if you are ever told your child needs extractions. P.S. I am still breastfeeding and have changed my son's diet in some ways (whilst he never had any added sugars in his diet, white starches, fruit juices or excessive fruit, I have adopted a more paleo and grain free approach in order to slightly reduce his carbohydrate intake). I am not sure what exactly the cause of his tooth decay was, but unfortunately a multifactorial approach was never really taken with me in the first place and I was made to feel as though breastfeeding was the cause of his tooth decay (I had low vitamin D and other issues during my pregnancy and these could possibly have contributed).

I found Dr Linnett incredibly insensitive and will not be returning to this dental practice.
