My 1st time having a mammogram. I was able to park in the "15 minute free" zone. ..which is directly opposite the breast screening clinic (a bit further past the main multi story car-park) . Walk to the rear of the building on the left, for the entrance.
Plenty of seats for you and your support person, at reception. 
Your names called. Pop on a front opening gown. Friendly warm staff. Procedure is very quick. Female staff, gently assists/takes the xrays. The pressure was firm. I did not find this painful. 2 week wait for my results now.
