I did pull into this servo quite early in the morning approx 2 or 3 in the morning. I ordered a coffee and was directed towards the coffee dispensing machine. Which I thought was quite unusual seeing as it was an 24 hour establishment. Upon pouring myself a cup of what was apparently labeled 'coffee', I continued on my way down the highway towards Brisbane. Upon leaving Gin Gin with my so called cup of coffee, I took one sip and I just about dry reached. Beyond absolute deplorable, is about the only way to describe it. Not that I have ever eaten it , but I honestly do believe that Gerber stewed prunes babies diahorrea would taste far better than what was in the disposable cup that I held in my hand. The sick feeling did not leave me until I had reached the Gold Coast. I honestly don't feel that I was over my sick feelings until I had crossed the border for quite some miles. Mind you, this occurrence happened back in 2008. Hopefully the coffee at this establishment has improved greatly since then.

On the 14.11.15 at approx. 8.47a [time on docket] we stopped at the lovely town of Gin Gin. Obviously town folk take great pride in the area. It is always a pleasure to stop for a rest. As I paid for the fuel at the BP in Musgrave Street I ordered a skinny flat white coffee. When I collected the coffee I double checked it was a 'skinny' flat white. The man who served me also checked with the lady who 'made' the coffee. As we were in a hurry to resume our journey I did not taste the coffee until we drove out of town. I would like to ask that in future care is taken to ensure that skim milk is provided when requested. I suffer from asthma as a direct result of drinking full cream milk. Within seconds of driving out of town I suffered the first signs of a problem. Full cream milk coats my throat so quickly with mucus that within seconds I experience breathing problems. I had taken just one sip of that coffee, which had not been possible until we were driving away from Gin Gin. I immediately realized the milk was not 'skinny': another passenger in our car drank the coffee and confirmed what I already knew. One cup of coffee is a small price to pay for what could possibly be my last cup of coffee. So PLEASE, to those who served me: when a customer asks for [and I I DID ask- as I had been to the rest room-while the coffee was being made] please, make sure you use the correct milk. I don't drink skim milk because I am worried about my waistline I am worried about breathing and enjoying the next time I visit Gin Gin.
