Saves a trip to see Dan. 

Reasonably priced bottlo and friendly staff. Conveniently located near to Morningside. Beer is cold and I don't have to battle the trolley pushers at Dan Murphy's.

We have just had the most bizarre experience at this shop. My partner went in with the intention of buying a six pack of Pure Blonde. He couldn't see any six packs left on the shelf so he opened up a carton to get one from the cold room. The person working in the shop, a sweaty harried looking balding man, proceeded to rip the six pack from my partners hands and berated him in front of other customers for opening the carton. The shop man then said he was refusing to serve him and told him to leave the shop. At this point, you might saying to yourself that I must be leaving details out. Surely he wouldn't refuse service to a 36 year old, perfectly orderly man trying to buy a six pack to have a few beers this afternoon. But I am not. This happened. My partner apologized for not seeing the six pack that was already on the shelf but that was not enough for this guy. He then kicked us out of the shop and then followed us to our car and took down our registration details, to what end I'm not sure. I don't know that the police pursue people who are trying to purchase beer. In any case, this has been the most confusing and infuriating experience I've ever had in a bottle shop. We certainly won't be returning here ever again.

Nice friendly staff, good range. Always going to be a bit more expensive but happy to go there and support one of the smaller guys.

Not a large place and not overly known for special offers it does sport some of the rarer and harder to find drinks which make up for all the shortages in spades. Give them a try.
