In a nut shell: Great coffee, decor and menu. The coffee is consistent with perfect bean and roast for milk based drinks not acidic like so many other places and single origin bean for espresso/black coffees. This place has become a Local coffee spot for us. Recommend: Mr Marty's Crumpets!
Beautiful spacious cafe with friendly staff, and the doors can be opened up on a warm day - and plenty of light, very light filled place, and also plenty of spaces to lean up against the wall and relax.
What an amazing Cafe!!! Coffee was great food was amazing!!!!!! the smokey sweet southern fried chicken waffles were delicious!! Highly recommend!!!
Nice corner little cafe with friendly staff. Food is great along with the stock of serving Asahi Black to crunch your thirst on a warm summers day to go with your burger.
Brilliant experience checking out this cafe for the first time this morning. Great food all round, amazing coffee latte was very smooth, and the current single origin makes a perfect espresso!, and great service from excellent and very friendly staff. Extra props for accommodating our large group booking with babies and toddlers, even though it was quite a busy brunch / lunch time. Will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu. Thanks again!
Awesome coffee & great menu. Southern style fried chicken on waffles is my favourite. Lovely staff & good sunny spot to sit inside on a chilly day with North facing full glass windows that fully open during the warmer months
Food is not good. Could have done better myself. Got a steak sandwich, the steak was in one piece making it difficult to eat, it was too greasy as well made me feel nauseous, steak was over done with out any pinkness. Bun was too soft to hold everything int he sandwich. Every coffee I've had from there has been burnt. Tried this cafe three times so far won't be going back again, when there are other cafe's in the area that are much better and cheaper.
Went there for my birthday yesterday. OMG the American fried chicken waffles are fantastic!!! Never have I had anything like it. What a fun menu. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Thanks everyone for making my birthday one to remember
Came here with an elderly relative who lives locally. Sure, cafes are plentiful through bayside so I'm not much for cafe snobbery, but this was an amazing place to come. Read up on reviews & majority were highly recommended. Glad we stopped here. Ordered the chicken & waffles, well worth it! Wife had the smashed avo, even in lenient avo times they didn't scrimp! The coffees looked amazing also. I'd definitely agree with everything positive review on the web. Well worth it.
Average service, slow & below average meal. My friends meals were more edible but not very nice & mine was terrible. I politely let them know why I didnt it early more than 2 mouthfuls .. They were nice about it but didn't bother to even take a coffee off. The toast of my $22 meal was completely wet and un-toasted, prawns were boiled & flavourless and scrambled eggs tasted powdered. Considering we were a table of 5 and all eat out every weekend .. All five of us left disappointed and all agreed we wouldn't return.
