Awesome food and great service. We arrived without booking but they made adjustments to give us a table. All the staff were super friendly and the food arrived just a few minutes after ordering. Definitely highly recommended!!
Bluegrass BBQ has outdone themselves – a meat lover's paradise tucked away at Eatons Hill. Each visit leaves me more impressed. The brisket is tender, practically melting under a rich, flavourful sauce, nestled on a bed of classic fries and paired with a fresh, crunchy slaw that provides the perfect counterbalance. The cornbread is a golden delight, its sweetness complemented by creamy, whipped butter – simplicity at its finest. And that burger? It’s a towering feast with layers of juicy beef, crispy bacon, and all the trimmings, creating a symphony of tastes and textures. Each dish is a standout, making Bluegrass BBQ a must-visit for anyone who takes their barbecue seriously.
Found this BBQ place after the reviews showed some promise. The service and atmosphere were pretty good. I wish I could say the same about the bbq pork ribs. I never knew ribs could be this dry and lacking flavour. I’m pretty sure the ribs were slow baked in the oven, reheated in the microwave and slapped with some sauce, not even hitting the grill for a reheat. This is the first bbq place where I can say the sides tasted better than the mains. I can’t comment on the rest of the menu, but if one dish is served this way, all the ribs will be this way. Stick to the sides, wings or burgers if you visit here, or just hope for a better day in the kitchen.
Always a good spread of excellent food. This is our go to place for a celebratory meal. If there is three or more in our party we get one of the platters. Comfortable seating, music isn't too loud when they have it and the staff have always been very helpful.
First time meal at Bluegrass BBQ last night and it won’t be our last. 4 of us greeted warmly at the door and seated by Daniel. He had great knowledge of all the beers and was super friendly. Drinks ordered almost immediately and were cold and quick. We all ordered something different from the Brisket, to a Steak to a Chilli bowl and Dirty Pork Fries. All delicious. Daniel and another staff member continually checked on us to see we were well watered and that we were happy with our meals. Reasonably priced and great old fashioned service. Great from start to finish.
