Exactly what you'd expect from the mountains - Vast expanses of greenery and the blue sky with pretty clouds, all nice and windy. You wouldn't regret coming here even on a hot, sunny day. Heaps of walking tracks all around. Do not forget to bring gallons ! of sunscreen and water.
wonderful place we spent two days and stayed in nearby hotel, can't explain how great it was
Amazing place. From Sydney CBD, it will take you two hours of train ride to get here. You can see a lot of attractions in this place. One day is not enough to visit every place in Blue Mountains. There are a lot of tour operators that will make your journey easier. Mine was from Blue Mountains Explorer Bus.
Nice mountain for a hike. if travelling by train may consider a trek from Katoomba to Leura which covers a number of major attractions. Hike may take a full day with few shops along the way so stock up on food and water.
Was here at the beginning of the year, and it was full of adventure with amazing and peaceful hikes. Plenty of activities and full of green forest. Only two hours drive from the city, so very much worth it. Just don't go when it is raining or cold. Would recommend if you are in NSW
Spectacular only word for this place. Hassans Walls
