A smallish sized grassy park with plenty of shady trees and ferns. Plenty of wooden bench seating to relax and wind down on. Nice cool place to sit in the hotter weather as there’s plenty of shade. Hidden away in the middle of a city setting
Intimate little park not far from cirvular quay very shady with reasonable anount of seats to relax in this busy city. If religious there is a catholic church and a presbytetian church very near.
Nice little park located within walking distance to Circular Quay. Honestly it’s a lovely little place to sit down, relax and take ten minutes out. There are public toilets in the park but I did not use them so cannot comment on that regard. One negative was a couple of homeless people camped out on park benches. They were not causing any trouble etc, but certainly something to consider.
This small park is located at the northern end of the CBD, just up from George St and right next to York St so it’s always got traffic going past. There’s a few benches to sit on for lunch, and the grass is in reasonable shape but beware of the ibises who are always looking for a feed. Lots of cafes and food options nearby but to be honest you’re probably better off heading to Circular Quay for a better view and environment.
Good for those 32°+ hot days. Lots of shade with a good mix of shaded and sunny benches. Public toilet nearby. Negatives: because it's so shaded, grass doesn't grow well and it is too damp to sit on most of the time. High vehicular traffic with bus stop.
Our Wow Teams Sanctuary in the midst of a sometimes hectic city.. A Small park with a lot of History and no doubt, seen and heard a lot of stories throughout the years Decades and even centuries
A nice place to escape the high paced CBD. Often shrouded in shadow which can situationally be a good or bad thing. It's well maintained too.
A peaceful, shady oasis in the northern CBD.
A beautiful park in the middle of CBD.
I think, the Lang Park is the best iconic park in this city. Lots of fun things to do. Great variety of different vendors. There’s always something fun going on. Beautiful nature within concrete jungle. I love this park so much.
