This is definitely a local hidden gem. Visited here with a gf we got the bacon and eggs and 2 x coffees prices were reasonable and good value for money! Delicious and will return again. The corn fritters are glorious.Food: 5/5
Discover a hidden gem in Carrara, the Black Lime Cafe, nestled on the western side of the Gold Coast. During my recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience and food it had to offer. The cafe's small meal menu boasts excellent food and service, making it a perfect family-friendly spot. The eggs benedict and waffles were delicious, and the muffins were a delightful treat. What truly stood out was the variety of refreshing juices available. Despite all these qualities, the prices remained decent. Black Lime Cafe is the kind of place you'll want to revisit, and it's a testament to Carrara's culinary charm.
Amazing coffee and food great value , the only thing I would fix is the staff should be a bit more attentive to cleaning tables after each customer, we sat on a dirty table full of food scraps the waitress removed the previous customers dishes without cleaning the table! the table next to us was dirty as well, only dishes were removed, but never cleaned watched 2 groups use it with out being cleaned.
Weekend very busy, but I just wait 10 mind all the food are coming. I highly recommend Black Lime Cafe, amazing delicious food and Drinks! extremely kid friendly, and the staff are incredible! Going above and beyond service. We will be back again.
Great experience. Little place tucked away in the suburbs. Tried the savoury mince which was delicious. Good pricing for what you get. Parking: Parking on site, part of a suburban shopping complex
Been meaning to review this place for a while, because every single time i visit with friends or family, all we talk about is how incredible the food is and how amazing & beautiful the staff is. Visited today for a Sunday brekkie, the coffee is amazing, food is 12/10 and staff is just an absolute plus service is so prompt as well. Love coming here and will continue to do so for as long as we live on the coast :

Will not be back. Waited an hour for scrambled eggs and kids waffles. By the time the food arrived my coffee was already cold and nearly finished. They weren't particularly busy either. $14 scrambled eggs pictured. Very overpriced and nothing special. While eating, the table behind us was cleaned with some strong smelling disinfectant and made it smell like we were eating in a bathroom. They get an extra star for the free ice tea as we were leaving to say sorry for the long wait for food. But it still doesn't make up for the experience. There are better places for the same price elsewhere. I say to the owner, pay attention to the little things and the big things take care of themselves. It's the little things that make all the difference.
