The club has a great vibe. The meals and the selection is outstanding. We had lamb shanks. Each bowl had 2 shanks, mash and lovely fresh vegetable medley. My only gripe would be the presentation. Being a former Head chef of the Caloundra RSL, I know always former chefs complaining, i was disappointed, but this doesnt detract from the flavour and portion size. In fact, I was surprised as the look of the plate is normally and indication of the taste.nOverall a great experience.nnWe had leftovers and we took these home and I made them into a shepards pie.
By far one of the best clubs on the Gold Coast , heaps of great meal deals every day , and the club has just finished a huge multi million dollar upgrade which looks amazing especially the foyer as you enter the club !nEasy 5 Stars & highly recommended
Thanks staff and team for the nice lunch, devouring the large plates of roasts and bangers and mash for us oldies more than we could munch, albeit my senior meal of pork too hard to eat as was overcooked meat, overall the friendly and kind atmosphere was very good as well as the rest of the food!
Loved the peaceful atmosphere on the Gallipoli Balcony! Good clientele, not busy busy rush rush or squeezed in! Nice outlook. The food was very well priced and they have options for smaller size meals as well steak fish etc…. Normally it’s larger meals but I thought that was unique offering smaller size of the larger meals. The service and staff were so amazingly friendly it’s rare these days so it really made our luncheon outing. Absolute quality wine selection that didn’t taste cheap and was very well priced! We truly had a good outing so thanks to Nerang RSL and their staff! We loved it so much we have changed going to our local now and will be coming there for our catch ups. Can’t wait to try the other bistro food area and cocktails! See you soon!
Ordered a lamb roast and the lamb was cold infaçt the whole meal was cold. The roast potatoes and pumpkin were heated up from a previous day. It was the worst meal we have ever had. See pics. Will not return.
