Animals refuse to eat it and if they do it will result in sick animals vomiting etc. they add too much ash as filler ! My cats loved it 3 years ago when it was the old family business formula then master pet fish food companybought the brand and changed the formula to be more cost effective and change the kibble size to be smaller to be more cost effective for production purposes and then discontinued 20kg bag and replaced it with 8kg bag and increased the per kg price All this resulted in a very upset pair of cat and us humans as there was no indication of a formula change as the 8 KG bag of food was labeled "original formula" I am not familia with their quality in fish food master pet produce but keep away from our cats and dogs! Avoid at all costs bad bad product!
I really wanted to like this dog food, but I gave my dog when he was a pup and it gave him a nasty yeast infection in his ear brewers yeast in food?. I bought the food again recently by mistake and my now-adult dog won't eat it and he's not usually a fussy eater.
Our two dogs love blackhawk.. our one dog used to have digestive issues but since being on black hawk he's had no issues at all.. happy with these biscuits
DO NOT give your cats this if they suffer from skin allergies even though they have a 'grain free' line. Its resulted in my cat having rashes all over her body the most recent being this photo admittedly looked more raw as just been shaved I was a vet nurse and confirmed the rash was food related as we kept a food diary for her and she went from normal black hawk to grain free and now we have her on royal canin/feline naturale mix. Also having worked at a major vet hospital back in the day we constantly found out skin rashes in dogs were black hawk related. I wish black hawk would reimburse me for all the fees as well as food. Its very disappointing.
I'd give it a zero if I could, their food poison my dog, $800 vet bill later.
