Our usual is closed so next best option. Has been good the couple times I’ve been so far. The shop is very clean and resembles a classic kiwi fish and chip shop although a bit expensive.
Great fish and chips sold here. I have a feeling BJ’s are famous for their incredible value when it comes to chips. The amount pictured was $4 worth and lasted for dinner and lunch the next day.

Ordered a steak and egg burger and chips, chips were fine but the burger was awful had a funky smell to it and didn't taste right so ended up binning it. Wont be coming back.
Excellent chippie great for a takeout meal of fish and chips. Also excellent spring rolls
Visited the establishment 2 times on the way to the beach. Both times the fish was fresh and the chips were perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned. Excellent for the late afternoon beach snack.
Suprisingly good actually, good prices and good food.
Ok but not the greatest fish isn't fresh at all its frozen it usta be a good shop with fresh fish but has different owners now. Better than Fitzys but prefer The New Canton for my fish n chips but still all the fish n chip shops in Waiuku suck. I think the Cosmopolitan club would make way better fish n chips
I'm sorry but they ran out of hamburger buns. Instead of sending the staff to go get some they allowed the rest of the order to go cold while the cook went and got some. When I arrived I ordered an Hawaiian burger and asked if I could swap out the meat for a potato fritter. The young lad said no we don't do that. And I asked why he said it's just not going to happen. I found the food nice but the two teenagers have a huge attitude
