Much better size range and price range available than in the Manukau branch. Better customer service, too - there were a few things that the (fairly new?) staff member didn't know, but she was quick to clarify with senior staff, and overall we were happy.

We had AMAZING service from Bike Barn in Hamilton recently. We went in to get one bike, and ended up buying three - just because the man serving us was so great, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend these guys over any online shop - they fit the bikes and because we got the one on one service, we got bikes that were perfectly suited to our personal needs. Not what I would have picked, otherwise. We are really happy with the service, and the bikes.

I bought a new tyre and they fitted it while I waited. Very friendly and fast service.

Large range but the service can be lacking depending on the day and the staff on duty. Prices aren't amazing and the special offers are usually a sham. They ran a Kellogg's cereal packet promotion in 2015 offering half price bikes but everything in the store was half price anyway and the promotional discount was utterly irrelevant. Also, many of Bike Barn's prices are heavily inflated versus Australia, meaning price specials are typically full price bikes masquerading as good value. Do your homework before buying.
