For the price it’s not bad. However the issues. Despite the heater being set to full and hot air coming out, the seating area was cold and my room at the other end never heated up that well. During the night I was freezing and only slept a max of 3 hours, I wake up when I’m cold. I couldn’t lie straight on the bed as my feet came off the bed and had to lie down sidewards. It was quiet though for the most part and dead silent at night. So if I wasn’t freezing I’d probably have slept through the night no issues. The shower was good, there was a white tail in the bathroom which I flushed down the sink, but since they float on water I’m sure he came back out when we left. Cooking in the kitchen was good too, no issues with any of that. So it’s fine for the price, but I dunno maybe get cheap bed heaters or better doonas? If that’s what their called, personally I don’t buy that stuff, my mum does, so I don’t know the names for it. Either way something needs to be done in winter so we don’t freeze over at night. The next days shower was great because I was literally frozen to the bone.
Had a nice stay after we picked up our new caravan in Wagga, Very roomy drive through caravan spot on the grass. A short walk down to the river and plenary of room for the kids to run a muck. Amenities were very clean and the park was very tidy. Also great to see a caravan park where you can have a fire at your campsite.
Travelling through on our way home with caravan. Caravan site was spacious. Park was very well kept and secure. Overall we were very impressed. We will definitely stay at this park again. Thank you to all the staff who we found very friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable. Cheers Julie
Had a nice caravan spot. The park was well presented and clean . Amenities were also clean and tidy, they supplied bath mats for the showers which was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly too.Service: 5/5
My 1st time here. I was very impressed. They have everything U could possibly want in their neat little cabins. I was in Wagga for work but this Holiday Park made me feel I was on holiday! This dog friendly accommodation facility is the chain I'll be looking for when next sent away! Thank you. Noteworthy details: Interesting location right on the Murrumbidgee. Plenty of room to walk the dog. Very well presented grounds. Interesting wildlife. Kangaroos, bats.
Ensuite bathrooms clean, and towels a nice luxury. Children’s playground is toddler friendly. Perhaps some of the trees need trimming for van access. The gate is slow and sometimes fails.Rooms: 5/5
Very nice and neat park. Amenities old but clean. Great shower space with division, curtain, and provided bath mats. Could do with more washing machines. We had a grass site, which was nice soft grass. Large site easy access. Secure park with security entry. Friendly helpful staff.Rooms: 5/5
My husband and I stayed in the caravan section and found the park delightful. Secure, clean, quiet with beautiful green lawns to park our van on. Its a quick walk to the river which is picturesque. The staff are very friendly. Dog friendly park which is brilliant. It's the best caravan park in Wagga!Service: 5/5
Staff were really friendly, nice park with lots of new cabins and grassy sites plus you can walk to the river which is nice. We made the mistake of booking a holiday cabin for $185 instead of the newer, larger ones for a little more. Very, very small and tired. Bathroom was clean but if you looked closely, it needs a good scrub. Linen was clean and the bed was comfy. My advice is spend a bit more and go for the newer, larger cabins. Convenient location for an overnighter if travelling.
I went here once for a Christmas. The rooms were fine, could be bigger. But my cousins cabin was much worse. They found bugs hidden in the cabin and they were crawling everywhere. My service here was terrible too. I was enjoying a day in the hot sun and pool, but I was in the sun for a little too long. The big 4 must hire a new maintenance man because as me and my family were playing in the water, the man poured at least 3 bags of pool salt into the pool. I mentioned that I caught a lot of sun. The man should have given us a warning because from my painful experience, pool salts and sunburns do not go together. I went back to my cabin, and felt a sharp stinging pain in my back and shoulders. It became worse and then I was screaming and crying. I bet the whole park could hear me. For the next few days my back would sting and whenever I had a shower my pain would get worse. Please get a new maintenance guy or just teach him how to safely clean a pool. Rooms: One of the rooms had bugs inside. Had to pay extra just for a new room, did not get money back. This place is a scam and not worth your money Safety: I went in pool, maintenance guy poured salts in pool, I was sunburned and salts went in my skin. Endless pain for days and the guy didn’t even give me a warning about the salts. This place should hire new guy or just teach him the right way go clean a pool safely. Other experiences in my family were fine but mine was absolutely terrible.
