Recently Stayed with 4 other families. Office Staff are friendly but thats where it stops!! Groundsman (I think) comes and rudely kicks everyone out of the pool and water park at 6 on the dot. Our first night there was in excess of 10 kids playing as most people had only just checked in. What a Joke this park is in North QLD where its not getting dark until 7.30 at night. The jumping pillow was deflated in case it rained and there were no activities for the kids like big 4 normally have on school holidays. We were attracted to this park due the fb advertising and I feel like It should has said Main Features and All Fun will stop at 6pm. I use BIG4 because we have small children - I know next time I will stick to Cairns Coconuts or Airlie Beach were they are family orientated.

Terrible place, no shade around pool, no shade around sites, no shade around kids pool, no shade around mini golf - but there is a giant solar field in the middle of them. Staff offer no help upon checkin, the rules about the pool use state “see rules at the pool” guess what? The sign at the pool says if you break the pool rules you will be ejected from the park and no refund given - but no actual rules. I was asked to leave the pool area as I had a half tube of pringles and a can of drink (while I was watching my young children swimming) which is fair enough, however the only place I could still have food and a drink was in the blistering sun because the tables and chairs have no shade. Decided to pack up and leave. On check out I was told I have to wait for a manager, who didn’t even bother asking why I was leaving, what was wrong, anything I need help with - it was just “there’s no refunds once you checkin - so no refund”. I was quite angered by this parks staff caring more about keeping their money then caring about their customers. Ironically, there were about ten signs posted in the reception stating “once checked in there are no refunds for any portion of the stay (or something to that effect). I’m guessing like me many other people have experienced the worst service from a Big 4 any where so they needed to put up these signs. If I could have rated a negative I would.

Arrived on a hot day, aircon wasn’t on like in all the other parks we’ve stayed in this past week. When I complained to management they were defensive, then apologetic only after I explaibed my case, I got the feeling they thought I was a bit demanding. Otherwise good value for money.

Visiting friends staying there . nice spot plenty of play activities for the children.
