Just want to say how much we enjoyed shopping at Big Save Palmerston North. Thanks to Vicki, Harley and the rest of the team. We brought a king single adjustable bed and hubby says best sleep he has had in ages. We will be back.
Came to get bean bags for our school, great value bean bags, and good quality. We bought the intyre stock that they had at the time.
Good service.. and told 8 weeks until delivery on our new couch.. ok with that.. but still waiting months later.. big delays. Be warned ..
Went in to look at different types of beds as we are thinking of upgrading ours and just wanted some time to myself to weigh up the different options in terms of size and feel. I greeted the sales assistant as I walked in the door and told him that I was just wanting to browse today and didn’t need any help. He said to come and find him if I had any questions. Perfect. Wish it ended at that. He then not even 5 minutes later before I even made it to the back of the store where the beds were, came to find me to let me know of the sale ending in 4 days and asked me if I was looking for anything in particular. I told him again that I was just wanting to browse the different beds, that I was just looking and that I wouldn’t be buying anything in the next 4 days anyway. I said I would come and find him if I had any questions about any of the products. He ignored this and tried to walk me down to the beds to talk about them there. I had to re-iterate for the 3rd time now that I just wanted to be left alone to browse and that I would find him if I had any questions. My husband then arrived as I wanted to get his thoughts on a bed. As we are talking about size options, the sales assistant comes back and asks again if we need any help. To which I say ‘no thank you’. He then ignores this and proceeds to keep giving us the sales pitch. I try to stop him and he then interrupts me, gets visibly annoyed at me and continues his pitch anyway. I had to tell him to please leave us alone or we would go somewhere else. A customer should not have to tell a sales assistant 6 times that they no not require their help yet. We just wanted to be able to talk quietly as a couple about the kind of bed we preferred and try some options without the hard sell of as sales assistant that was clearly unwanted . Really liked the beds, but will probably order through a different store or go elsewhere.
So helpful with plenty of options to choose from. Very affordable. Vicky was fabulous.
