Stayed 1x night for a business trip. Warmly recieved and all amenities were explained when checking in. Hotel neat and tidy. Parking lot was full and easy accessible.nThe restaurant and breakfast area us right beside the foyer. Staff were all friendly.nI was in a double room. All the usual equipment one would find in a international hotel. Everything was in working order.nThe drainage in the shower wasn't ideal. But overall stay was awesome.nThere is wifi on the building. If you wanted to watch or connect to your usual shows like Netflix or YouTube, you would have to hotspot your phone for connectivity.nI also had dinner at the hotel. Serving staff were attentative and pleasant. The meal was also good. Had their steak and red wine special. $49.nBreakfast was a bacon and egg continental selection with the usual fruit juice and coffee.nI had a good stay and would definitely recommend it for anyone passing through or on business.
The only issue we had was restaurant closed for function so didn't anticipate looking at other options. Limited utensils in the room, we ended up with takeaway but managed to request something to eat with. Bathroom has poor water run off from shower with water making its way onto bathroom floor, around toilet which meant we had a clean up to ensure no slip hazard. Staff very courteous and friendly. Bed was odd, one side had a dip towards centre which meant you sort of had to roll out to get off we are senior not middle age or youngish. I guess catering for everyone is important.
Great location if you need to be close to the Sunshine Coast Uni Hospital which I did. The rooms are really big, mattress and pillow were excellent - slept really well, especially with the black out curtains. Lots of parking. Restaurant menu is limited but steak was good. It's clear it doesn't have the usual amenities e.g., gym, pool but not clear how you have a 4.5 star rating without these? Only gripe was the hot water. I was in the accessibility room and I'm not sure if it's a safety feature, but it's absolutely impossible to have a really hot shower if that's you're thing. Also, bathroom designed for disabled people gets water all over the floor in front of the toilet after a shower. Didn't bother me but something to watch for people prone to slipping.
Huge shoutout to the staff, they were all so accommodating, beautiful and welcoming, I looked forward to seeing them every day!nFood was delicious, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. nThe location was in a nice quiet spot, and it wasn’t too crowded, perfect for a relaxing quiet staycation.nThe rooms were decent as well, spacious and clean, including the kitchen utensils for some tea.nI honestly have no negatives to give.nLooking forward to coming back.
Wonderful friendly receptionist who changed our room as the TV didn't work. The new room was dusty, only one bedside lamp worked and they didn't match. The shower floods the whole bathroom and the extractor fan doesn't work. One of the bathroom tiles has a huge crack across it. Really? This is a modern hotel and an utter dump. Don't stay here. Any Ibis Budget will offer more for way less money.
