The Best Westerm Plus Lake Kawana Hotel is a newly built 81 room 4 ½ star hotel (opened Nov 2015) offering both corporate & leisure guests a high quality accommodation experience.

I have stayed here three times and each time I have stayed I have received excellent service from the people at reception when I checked and out of the hotel. Also the restaurant staff were very friendly as well. Would recommend anyone staying in the Sunshine Coast to stay here with Sunshine Coast Airport close by if travelling by car from the airport
Nicely presented hotel right by the lake. Pleasant 5km walk around the lake. The rooms are nice. Free parking with charging infrastructure. There is a nice Thai restaurant that is walking distance. Location is in suburbia, good if you need easy access to the hospital.
We stayed here for 1 night. We were a little disappointed for the price. The couch was dirty/stained, the bed was saggy and there were little things like the bathroom fan that wasn’t working and when you looked up - it was pretty dirty.nnThe staff were lovely. We didn’t eat there but we did get a coffee, it was average.
Very much a what you see is what you get sort of place. Paid extra for a superior room. No idea what that got me as rooms all seem identical. No complaints at all. Realistically this place was average to good , but for the price was very fair
There is nothing more to say about this hotel other than impeccable service food and a genuine feel of being treated like family. I stay here at least once every month I am always greeted with such genuine welcome and appreciation from the staff. I thoroughly recommend anyone coming to the Sunshine Coast staying here. Raj is my favourite check in guy so helpful
