Nice place, not too crowded on a Sunday at noon. Prices are reasonable.nnFrom the photos I took, you can see the Chicken Schnitty 150g and the Mexican Street Corn. The chips were nothing exceptional. The minced beef in the Mexican Street Corn tasted great, though the menu makes no mention of minced beef in the dish. The giant ball of butter on the plate seemed unnecessary, and the portion of corn chips provided for scooping up the beef was too small.nnWith these two dishes, we received a complimentary soft drink and ice cream. However, we had ordered one entrée and one smaller plate, and there was no mention in the menu of these qualifying for a free ice cream and soft drink. The menu definitely needs an urgent review for clarity.nnOverall, it was a nice place with a good experience, but the service could improve. Adding QR codes on tables for ordering would be a valuable enhancement to service quality.
I paid $37 for the rump steak. It was like trying to chew through a rubber tyre. Probably the worst steak I’ve ever had. I had to swallow huge chunks at a time like I was taking pills because I physically couldn’t chew through it.nThe chef really needs to sample their own food before serving it up to someone else and charging them.
Our 60th Birthday celebration was amazing thanks to the excellent preparation of the upstairs function room, superb catering and professional service by all of the staff. Sue, our bar hostess was amazing and worked tirelessly throughout the night to ensure a great time was had by all. Thank you for making this night so special.
I dined recently in for lunch and ordered from the menu. I ordered Quiche which arrived and was basically a scrambled egg with chopped bits in like capsicum etc but no pastry base or similar relating to what I would call a quiche coming from the food industry myself, I did mention it looked strange to the waitress but was given no response. Was not impressed at all but couldn't eat it. Didn't feel comfortable complaining any further but was not impressed.
Special thank you to Victoria and Jan, the wedding was successful! They did an amazing job to accommodate a sudden change of weather, and had upstairs set up for intermission in a short notice. The food was great, specially the calamari! They have so many reception options to choose from. Great location with parkings from both sides. They are very friendly and accomodating, cannot recommend them more.
