The Berwick Inn Hotel was established in 1857, originally known as the Border Hotel and was an important community meeting centre and major staging post en route to the gold fields of Gippsland.

The hotel’s heritage listing and ambiance makes it an icon of the local area.

Rachelle and the team at Berwick Inn hosted a private event for our family, and it was a huge success.nnFrom the outset, the team was incredibly accommodating in creating a menu that worked perfectly for our group of 40 guests. They were not only willing to accommodate our requests but also proactive in thinking outside the box to ensure the event was exactly what we wanted.nnThe chef and his team were exceptional. The food was outstanding, and many of our guests commented on how delicious and well-presented everything was.nnAs it was a semi-private function, we paid a per-head price, and it was definitely excellent value for money. We couldn't have been happier with the experience and would highly recommend Berwick Inn for anyone looking to host a special event.nnHuge thank you to the team at Berwick Inn, we will be back and refer our friends.
The chicken tacos were simple but tasty, well-filled with fresh toppings and a good amount of sauce. The calamari tasted fresh with a light, crispy crumb and came with a good amount of garlic mayonnaise.nnOur favourite was definitely the Cajun fried chicken wings, they were nicely coated in sauce with a slight char, and the ranch paired perfectly.nnThe drinks on tap were also good, and a big thank you to Shania at the bar who was very friendly and attentive.nnThe only downside for us was being told we couldn’t have a takeaway box after finishing our meal, which was a bit disappointing.nnA good experience with tasty food and friendly service.
Let’s keep this between the two of us, the food at the Berwick Inn is fantastic. Fresh tasty ingredients will get your taste buds dancing. Beautifully renovated and welcoming staff. Highly recommend the lasagna.

Huge portions! We tried the 2 x fish and chips battered and grilled and 2 x pie of the day, plus the superfood salad. Finished off with sticky date pudding and coffee. All enjoyed their meals very much. Service was good, you order at the bar. The venue was warm and inviting with a interesting historical past.
