Lovely ambience and clever decor, love the huge light fitting. Pork belly and vegetables was good the only disappointment was that the pork rind hadn't been cooked long enough to become crackling, was too rubbery to eat. The salt and pepper calamari with salad, an entree but served with the main was faultless. Curly calamari wedges, and a rocket onion and caper salad with very tasty dressing. For dessert the kitchen were flexible when I wasn't interested in the menu but wanted just the sorbet off the lemon cheese cake. They made a trio of apple, raspberry and citrus sorbet served with home made honey comb..... Absolutely perfect way to finish the meal. Then went into the bar to listen to the vocalist and the place was packed, need to get in early to get a seat. Noisy obviously but a good friendly community bar, with music Friday night 8pm 11 pm. So disappointed...this used to be an amazing restaurant, now it’s a basic stop in a great location. The wait staff have no idea and the dining room has no presence. Who ever took over this place has killed the vibe...if I wanted fish n chips and a Parma I’d go to the Berwick Inn.

Nice bar to grab a cocktail or beer. Good atmosphere. Seats fill quickly so sometimes standing room only!

Great atmosphere and great food served by awesome staff. Lucas Amado is a great chef.
