Bensons serve great traditional Chinese food! Always busy at dinner so book in. Not flashy but comfortable and clean. It is not expensive, 5 dishes was about $90 and it was enough food to feed 3 to 4 people easily.

Love this place ! Authentic Sichuan Chinese food. Great food and friendly service. If we come back to Christchurch again, will definitely visit this place again ! Highly recommend beef with black pepper source and pork belly.

We had been here before and had a nice meal but this time. Very average. The worst dish was pork spare ribs battered. They were truly awful and at $29 per dish a Total rip off. The wontons were ok but a bit overcooked. The dumpings were tasty but watery and maybe a bit of garnish would have been nice

Good place for a meal. Booking is a must if you would like to dine at peak hours. Spicy dishes are generally not spicy enough.
