Bad customer service, not friendly and as we walked in one of the staff rolled their eyes at us. We arrived 15 minutes before closing time and felt extremely unwelcome with "will be with you in a minute" we were the only customers 3 staff. Then when we said we would like to open an account we could tell we were not wanted, and I said we can come back another time, "no we can do it quickly was my reply" As my partner is on a bridging visa we were then told we can not open a joint account because my partner is on a bridging visa. I said why can we have a joint account with Commonwealth Bank and my partner can open other accounts as well has a Medicare card but can not open a joint account here?? My answer was, sorry I don't have that information, I'm telling you what my manager has told me. I asked if I can speak to your manager or someone higher up to find the correct information? Sorry I will take your name and number and once I know I will inform you tomorrow when I ask my other manager. I had to ask for it to be followed up, they couldn't offer to help one little bit until I asked several times.
How can a Bank take almost$20,000 out of our business account without any authorisation or consultation? I am beyond appalled. I will be going to the Ombudsman and the Media!
Staff here are helpful, even the times I have fronted with questions to which the answer, once given, should have been obvious.
