Delicious tenders. Tender indeed with a crispy coat. The spice level was true to its name. Found the chicken a bit salty for my liking but it was probably because it was needed to retain the flavour. Pickled veggies were a perfect match to the chicken. Service was impeccable! The vibe of the place was very relaxed.

I have to start this by saying I like hot food. My life is a constant battle to have the words "make it hot enough ruin my life" taken seriously. I've had a few places come close (usually in curry form) and Belle's is my favourite of these. Now, it's not the hottest chicken I've tasted by a decent margin, but it's one of a very select few places I've found that can do 'Really F**kin Hot' and still have it taste great. But, honestly, as much as I love the 'Really F**kin Hot' for a spectacularly spicy, southern sort of time, I can't recommend it as the go to. The 'Hot' is the perfect balance between taste and zing: take it with a side of mac and cheese (trust me, it works) and you'll be in for one of the best chicken dinners around. Because this isn't just about the chicken, Belle's rock a great drink menu to compliment their food and cap it off cool decor and friendly staff. Now I just wish they still delivered to my house...

Big servings of simultaneously the crunchiest and most succulent chicken wings you'll find in Melbourne in 5 different shades of hot, with a range of sides. The juicyness of the mushrooms is also recommended. The sauces are subtle and tasty. Clean American diner-style decor and prompt service. Fantastic if you have a hankering for wings!

Had the chicken sandwich and a measure of Pappy Van winkle 20 year after a stressful week. Jason took special care of us and we had great conversation. Great bloke and great food.

Nashville style fried chicken in a US diner setting. Would recommend the Tender (Hot) with Max ‘n Cheese. I’ve had better chicken at some of the Korean chicken places nearer central Melbourne.
