What a magnificent place to visit from a cool drink to a hot coffee to a whole cake or maybe just something as a treat there’s something here for everyone. There’s plenty of sitting as air conditioning is in the lounge sitting in an upside area upstairs where you can look over the main street, it’s a must see
“It was ‘worth’ coming to the Beechworth Bakery” ~ Daniel circa 2026.nnOn a road trip from Cent-west Qld to Warrnambool. Stayed in Echuca overnight. My son and I were up early due to the different time zones. Went for a walk down the Main Street and saw a 3 storey bakery calling our names. Got a potato pie, choccy milk, cheese and bacon pie and a coffee. All 4 items were excellent. Got to sit on the 2nd floor veranda and watch the pelicans land on the Campaspe. Bought the rest of the crew down for smoko a couple hours later.
The store is in a good location. Clean and tidy when I have been there. It can get busy at times. A good range of cakes and slices available, as well as other savoury items on offer.

The sausage roll I ordered was absolutely beautiful and all the pre prepared rolls and sweets etc looked amazing. My wife ordered a bacon roll but unfortunately there was no love in the preparing of that for her. It was a roll with a couple of pieces of bacon in it. Very dry, no butter no nothing.nnThat was disappointing but it really is a great bakery, just take plenty of money as it’s very pricey. You do get what you pay for tho.
