We visited Beccofino for lunch on Saturday to celebrate my husbands birthday. We ordered the calamari, pizza Norma and braised greens. Finished with the Almond Torta. The food was faultless. Great lively service, perhaps a tad efficient with plates and glasses leaving the table before we felt finished. Apart from that, I would highly recommend it. We took the ferry from Hamilton to the restaurant, which definitely added to the great experience.

We showed up without a reservation on a Wednesday night and the place was packed. The friendly person who greeted us very quickly had a table sorted for us.nnAnd boy are we glad he did.nnWhere to start. The atmosphere whilst frenetic and a touch noisy also made the experience that much better.nnThe team that took care of us were there when you needed and kept out of the way when you didn’t. You only needed to so much as make eye contact and someone would be there.nnBut the best part was the young woman that took our order. She was so lovely energetic bubbly and even responded to our attempt to speak Italian to her.nnAnd now the food, here’s where it fits serious, seriously good.nnEvery dish we had was simply incrediblenBut for me the stand out dish was the panacota  I. Oh my this was so good so creamy it had the perfect jiggle. Such a simple dish executed flawlessly.nnThere’s a reason Beccofino is full on a Wednesday night. It’s because they do exceptional food exceptional  service in a hip trendy part of Brisbane.nnGo for the atmosphere stay for the food. You’ll be treated to good honest Italian cuisine served by people that clearly love doing what they do.nnWell done Beccofino I’m so glad we got to dine with you.

I used to come here a few years back and loved the food. I recently came again and found everything very overpriced and mediocre at best with small portions. The deep fried potato crisps had to be the most disappointing at $12 for the bowl.

I have a question… is it a requirement that all the male staff here have huge biceps? Asking for a friend. Great restaurant, genuinely authentic Italian food and the service was excellent. Staff constantly checking to make sure we had everything we needed even on a busy night. Biceps aside,  definitely recommends for a casual bite with family or friends. Chicken involtini was one of the best I’ve had - not creamy or over the top. Perfetto. Definitely recommended

Service here is amazing. The wait staff were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable. Been wanting to come here for a while. Glad we made the effort. Was lovely sitting outside. The atmosphere with all the fairy lights from the street trees and on the deck ceiling was very soft and intimate. The food was delicious and portions generous. Definitely recommend deserts. Pizza had that lovely wood fired taste and aroma. Will be back.
