The food and service were amazing.nnI was most impressed with the entree and smaller, really creative combination, flavourful and refreshing.nnThe main was also nice and beautifully cooked. All meat was tender and incredibly juicy grilled chicken.nnThe dessert was a wonderful mix of texture and flavour.nnThe cocktail was nice with the right hit and complimented so well with the food.nnThe staff was very friendly and caring.nnOur whole experience was 100% amazing!
I dined at Same Same and opted for the banquet. The food was delicious, and the ambiance of the place was nice. However, I was a bit disappointed that my beer wasn’t cold, which is a small but important detail.nnAt $130 per person, I found the price to be quite steep. While the food was good, I’ve had much better Thai cuisine elsewhere at a more reasonable price. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll return for the banquet, as it felt overpriced for the overall experience.
Same Same has become my go-to spot for Thai cuisine, and that's saying something, especially coming from a Thai person! Every dish I've had there has been cooked to perfection. The flavors are authentic, and you can really tell the care that goes into each plate.nnThe staff is always friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even better. One of my favorite aspects of Same Same is the open kitchen. It's so much fun watching the chefs work their magic, bustling around to prepare meals with precision.nnThey are usually busy, no matter the day—even on a Tuesday! So, I highly recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a table. Overall, Same Same consistently delivers an excellent dining experience and is a must-visit for anyone craving Thai food.
What a wonderful night. We had the banquet for $84 per person. We swapped the oysters due to allergies. Not once were we made to feel bad for changing and staff were happy to accommodate. Every single meal was delicious and there was plenty of food for us! Staff were friendly, atmosphere was lovely. Plenty of street parking. Definitely a highly enjoyable evening and will definitely return with some more guests next time!
Absolutely stunning. The food is some of the best I've had, and the service was extremely attentive. Great vibes and music choice.nnAnyone giving this less than 5 stars either didn't actually eat here, or is probably not someone whose opinion you should trust, based on some of the reasons I have seen given in some reviews...
