We found a cool coffee house, 'Bean', tucked in a quiet laneway off George St. The cafe has a friendly owner and staff, lamps, lounge chairs, books, air con and groovy subdued 'background' music, to help you retreat a bit from the hustle and heat of the City in summer.

This place is my favourite, cozy cafe spot in town!! The people are nice, the coffee is fantastic, you feel at home and you get to see and purchase local artist work with exhibitions that change every certain time. Wouldn't miss out, their food is delicious too!!

Came here for brunch and it was a delight. Ordered the pulled pork roll and a coffee, both were delicious. The atmosphere is super cozy and homely, the card games really add to the fun. I hear it's just as great at nighttime.
