We went here for Christmas Eve dinner, and this buffet-style restaurant more than exceeded our expectations.  Dinner started with a guided tour of the various food stations, with our hostess introducing each station's chef and explaining the day's featured cuisines. It was a lovely way to start the meal.
From there, we enjoyed some of the best cocktails we had in Queenstown (my wife chose the Spiced Cloud--a tremendous hit). Dinner, to our surprise, was just as good. Buffets typically offer variety (and Bazaar was no exception) at the expense of quality. But at Bazaar, we were really wowed by the food AND the selection. The prawn dumplings at the Asian station stood out, as did the rump roast and the sirloin. Bazaar didn't skimp on desserts, either. There were seemingly dozens of tartlets, cakes, and pastries of all kinds. Even the ice cream cones were dipped in some kind of delicious confection. 
Rounding out this great meal was a spectacular view of Lake Wakatipu from one of the massive windows surrounding the dining room.  Overall, we were blown away by our meal at Bazaar!

Bazaar was a bit of a deception. Knowing the price and reading the opinions we were expecting much more of Bazaar.

The atmosphere is awesome, beautiful views and the staff is very nice and helpful. It's a nice idea specially if you are hungry and you enjoy a buffet. They have different areas but some of them, like the fish and the meat dont have enough variety. The quality of the food isnt enough for the price and you dont have any drink included.

We won't come back unless there is an offer. As for lower price it would be a nice place to go.

We enjoyed our meal at Bazaar. The staff were friendly and there was plenty of food options on offer. The desert bar was fantastic ! We managed to get a window seat which only added to our enjoyment as there is a great view to enjoy.
On our next trip back we will be sure to eat there again.

Outstanding cocktail selection. A great place to celebrate with groups and/or kids, as everyone can eat whatever they want, and as much as they want, without sacrificing quality. Very attentive and friendly service as well. And the view can't be beat!

We had had so many friends say they enjoyed this we decided to try this out for ourselves.  Staff are very friendly.  Food was very good and presented in a new and different way.  Buffets are not my thing, so we probably won't be back, though well done to Rydges for a new take on the traditional buffet.
