The lady taking the orders was on her phone non stop. She didn't see when somebody came in and didn't react when you tried to get her attention. A cook had to tap her that she reacted. When I finally could order she was really impatient. I ordered sweet and sour and thought the rice would be coming with it, also because she didn't ask if I want something else. So I later had to go back and order rice which she didn't really understand... The food is mostly just getting thrown into the microwave. The food was good I just would have enjoyed a bit more vegetables than about 5 pices. The cooks seemed really sweet. I would get a new person to take the orders!
The only Chinese takeaway that we can find during our stay in Coromandel, we traveled all the way to Whitianga to have fried rice and chopseuy. I say the food was not fantastic. Not sure of the other dishes in their menu. But they are quite busy though.Food: 2/5
The owner took my order as his wife had gone. 20 minutes to make it he said. I came back and the shop was locked. He let me in and locked it again saying he was very busy. Customers were banging on the door. His wife showed up and left the door open. He starting yelling and screaming at her and he threw a scrubbing brush into the wok which hit the wall when it bounced out. I was disturbed and uneasy by the arguing that carried on for a good 5 minutes while customers were coming in to get pre phone orders. It appears to be the only Chinese takeout in Whitianga. I wasn’t impressed and the food was not great either!!!! I finally got my order 45 minutes later. I hope someone else opens another Chinese takeout which will give them the shake up they need.
Food took longer than the Nile river, the 10 year old working was the best worker, hope he’s on more than $3 an hour. Would probably go across the road next time seeing as my wife and 3 kids don’t feel very well. Overall the sweet and sour chicken was not the worst :

Incredibly good food! I got the steak fried noodle medium and it was delicious, really nice noodles with egg, perfect tender beef, and nice veggies. Also the medium was a really good portion. My orchestra came through town for a concert and about half the string section trooped through this store, and they kept up. The only thing I didn't like was the pineapple fritter, it wasn't sweet enough for my liking but that's algood. Delicious fast food, great friendly people, and I could see all the locals going there as I walked in. Thank you so much for the lovely meal!
May have got my order wrong but lucky we love our noodles didn't bother us lol atleast it was still chicken! Best Singapore Noodles ever! Such a shame I'm from Auckland not easily accessible lol Still giving a 5 star, thank you for the delicious meal. Your the 2nd takeaways we have tasted in Whitianga.
Arrived here at 7:45, and when owner saw us arrive they asked someone inside to lock the door as they close at 8.
