Cheap rental, friendly kiosk staff who were apologetic for delays when car wasn't ready on time.nnHowever be wary of unapproved charges being added to your account. I didn't agree to roadside assistance wasn't even discussed at the counter but it was added for $25. Luckily I noticed and had to call for it to be refunded. Took 5 days.nnAt the end of rental, I filled the tank full, however a week or so later I was invoiced for 10L more fuel at $40. Called up and they said if I couldn't prove it they wouldn't do anything about it. Fortunately I still had my receipt. Had to chase up customer service for a refund, took 2 weeks.nnAside from that, car Kia Carnival was ok, not very clean inside, wear and tear with age, older model done about 95,000kms. Not surprising given the price. However it ran smooth, air con was strong and cold and the car didn't smell. No problems.nnCall centre has a callback function which is helpful.nnSo cheap rental but just keep an eye on your invoices.nnNote 22/10/24 - thanks for your reply Bargain, apology accepted and glad to hear you are taking this feedback on board for hopefully a better experience next time!
Bargain car rentals made renting a car super easy!nWe picked up the car straight off the plane and then dropped the key off after with no hassles. Before hiring they were very helpful with answering all my questions! They are very affordable and the cars they provide are clean!
My second experience using Bargain Car Hire and just like the last time, I really cannot fault these guys. I have now hired from their Launceston & Sunshine Coast depots and both have been fantastic. Easy booking, pick up and drop off processes and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I will continue to recommend them to family & friends and definitely would not hesitate in hiring from them again if the need arises. Hired a compact/small car.
Overall positive experience. We unfortunately were charged the fee for not filling up fuel, but sent through receipt and the amount was refunded. Great customer service from the young lad setting up the cars. Helped us swap the baby seat to a different configuration in minutes!
We were renting the third time now from Bargain at the Sunny Coast Airport and received always new cars it was always the small car/MG 3, great customer service, uncomplicated transactions and an easy return. Never had any issues and the bond got paid back super quick, too.nBig thank you to the team, the ladies are always super lovely!
