You can tell these stores are franchised, never have I had such a poor experience at a bbq galore store then I have at this store it's been nothing less then appalling, from blatantly lying to avoid for filling their price match guarantee to point blank telling customers they are wrong and lying.... just wow. I STRONGLY advise against spending any of your hard earned $$ at this store they simply do not deserve your business. Such a shame for the BBQ Galore brand as well when a rogue store like this is representing your brand.
We stopped in on Sunday 20th to be greeted as we walked in with “We close in 5 mins, if you want to make a sale purchase you’ll have to do it online “. Staff member preceded to carry on about only having 1/2 day off each week blah blah blah. Absolutely terrible customer service and attitude.
Edit: 2:40pm and $800 later I’m leaving the friendly and professional BBQ & Fireplace Centre in Birtinya. What a contrast to the rudeness from David at BBQ’s Galore! I was driving to Kawana and decided to call the store today, 5 January 2023 @2:04pm, and had the absolute misfortune of speaking to David. A rather miserable person! I called to enquire about charcoal bbq options similar to Weber Kettle bbq’s. His first response, while I was still speaking, was that they didn’t sell Weber. I said I knew that but was enquiring if they had something similar. He then rudely said, go to the website! That was the end of the call. Nice customer service BBQ’s Galore!
The store itself is fine, expected a larger range of accessories, but it is what it is. The customer service was what let me down, just rushed to the checkout. Very little care.
Bought an expensive barbecue 10 months ago. Under cover and sprayed but still rusted quite badly. Very unhelpful. They tried say rust not covered. The stainless used is obviously not fit for purpose. They fobbed me off. Be wary!! Will have to take action against them

Friday avo I came to purchase! sales lady helpful to tick a box …not engaged… off hand and some sort of twisty thing going on … DEFINITELY did not want the sale ! Thank goodness my staff are not like her . Will never go there again Suggest hard decisions have to be made !
These guys are great, owner sold us a pro Q and hubby could not be happier. Answered all our questions and would not hesitate to send any one in for The best bbq advise. Visited again today and got a thermometer from Jason who also just knew all products so well. If I could give more stars would....... very happy customer.
When collecting item, was advised, it doesn't include critcal part... told sales assistant that it would have been helpful if they had of informed me that on initial purchase, only to be told " its always been like that" ???? Not sure how I was supposed to know this. Definitely not buying any accessories or additional items, from this store.
