Very cool atmosphere and nice terrace outside, just a shame the view is blocked by the cruise terminal. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The wood fired garlic bread and wood fired pizzas are amazing. So fresh and flavourful. Cocktails are also good and well-made. However, I would not recommend the Ceasar salad at all. Basically a heap of salad leaves with a few bits of bacon and croutons hidden away under a forest of leaves and dressing. Definitely not money's worth. Other than that, though, no complaints whatsoever. Can confidently recommend Bar Mille for a casual lunch or night out.
We came here on a late Thursday afternoon and had some pizza and wine. It was quite tasty and the staff were nice too. The booths are very comfy.
Stumbled across this little gem of a place while doing a scavenger hunt with the kids, and learning the heritage of the building,Kids were starving and I needed a cold beer after walking around the rocks all morning. The food was delicious and good sized portions. My daughter isnt a fan of rustic pizzas but smashed it down without a whimper. The beer was ice cold and a decent selection. Wasnt very busy considering its across from the overseas passenger terminal. Prices were great and the kids were impressed. Recommend if needing a good priced feed and a cold bèer.
Took 45 minutes to get my cocktails! And the service was horrible! I asked for my cocktail 3 times and only had a rude response! Never again will I go back! The cocktails are expensive and I ordered the gold sparkling, it was not sparkling! Wasn’t even Instagram worthy! Not worth it! When I asked the bartender to make my drink the final time, he said in an arrogant manner “wait there and stay there!’ Like he was talking to a dog! I know he was working under pressure but if you can’t make your drink or handle the pressure then find another job.
Nice location If seated inside you get table service If you sit in the balcony you don't Odd huh Drinks were tasty Food was okay, but a bit over priced for what you're actually getting. Also to the owner having ipads on the tables for self ordering food would produce a better result than having the customer get up and go to the bar to wait in line to order and pay and then go back and sit down. It would be more stream lined letting the staff focus on waiting and making drinks and food. Also fixed table numbers so they're not waking in and out with hot food which is getting cooler by the second looking for the moving table number.
Great bar in the old laugh-worthy institute for seamen. Good beers and cocktails. Pizzas are also worth trying as well while in town!
The vibe of this place is so nice and the food is out of this world. The service needs to be improved though. It's time they add the table ordering QR codes if they don't have enough staff. The place was half empty and we still waited 30 min for drinks. We went to the bar to check on the status and the bartender didn't seem to be able to see our order in the system, but prepared ours next. Then the food took 40 min to arrive. We almost missed the start of the Opera House concert we had tickets for. I might give them one more try as the food was so good, but service will need to improve for us to recommend the place.
Awesome bar for parties, great location, beautiful view from location, almost every alcoholic drinks available, clean toilets, lift too, well organised security, easy parking after 9 pm, heaps of food options around, pent floor bar.
Good honest food at a reasonable price. The marinara tagliatelle was tasty and the seafood was fresh.
Nice bar with a romantic atmosphere and great music, 2 completely separate levels, ideal for a private party and easily can get 2 for one like kids in the basement and adults in the ground level. I had a speed dating event there and it was quite a good venue.
