POOR ! - paperwork required for the most simplest of things. You would think that they would modernize and make things easy but they're still sitting with files and stamps at their desks. I only used them to send money to India as i felt their rates were good. However, now i use 'wise' which is purely digital and very easy to use with better rates.
I have given all my details to open an account with this bank. I have not received login details and EFTPOS card even after 5 months of opening the account. Now we have noticed that the address is wrongly entered into the system by the bank in spite of giving then the address proof etc. Hence all documents were sent to the wrong address and missed in the process. They have no idea about the importance of correct data. Very bad service. It is not even possible to open an email sent by them without a major hassle as it is password protected and the password is only known by them.
Never use their visa debit card. I happened to use one time at service station they took $200 credit and actual bill was $132.50 it takes me 3 weeks to get back my refund. And again I used to pay my bill $1080.at mechanic workshop At first it decided and I tried again the same amount declined immediately. Then I have to use my GEM Visa card and finally paid off. When I checked my Bank Of Baroda account and surprisingly it shows 2 transactions of $1080 in total $2160.00 and I am calling them emailing them visited branch twice and after 3 weeks still investigating Every time I call only one reply my colleague is working on it and will contact you ASAP. I used to deposit Uber income in this bank now I transferred to other bank and as soon I get my money I will close the account
Horrible customer service. Trying to reactivate my account since the last 2 days. Provided all documents yesterday but still not activated. I was informed that they are not able to activate the account in their system. They informed that even the branch manager is not able to activate the account. Requested to speak to the manager but was informed that he is busy with a customer. Requested call back by manger but no body has called yet. Never open an account at this bank.
very bad customer services experience , no one answer the phone after calling more than 15-20 times. top management should check the reviews and take an appropriate action.
I dont even want to give 1 start but will do it since I have my money in thsi bank. But what a disgrace to the name of the bank. I always had good service from them back in India but here there is no customer service, i tried calling literally 20 times and no one pucked up, other contacts on their website are not reachable as number is invalid. Emailed them and no one responds. Just horrible. I will empty my account the soones.
Very bad customer service, every time I rang I was told to call back in 15 min or someone will call me from the bank but no ones has called me or reply to my email. I am trying to sort out remittance sent to India about 17 days ago.
I had good experience initially when I was making remittances. When I wanted to close the account I was asked to visit the branch to close my account instead of taking the request over registered email like other NZ banks. The teller asked me to wait for the right person to help me . I had to ask if there was a paper form to be filled as usual with Indian banks she should have offered it herself instead of me being asked after waiting for the colleague who was on lunch no set times. After submitting the form, it took me multiple follow ups over phone for 2 weeks to close my account. They actually confused me with another customer of same name when I had actually submitted a form with my details on it. Poorly trained staff or simply hiring incompetent people. No attention to detail and when all the systems are run by software they still make dog ate my homework type of excuses to customers to cover their incompetence thinking that the customers don't know . I had to raise my voice over phone which I did not like but that seemed the only way they would wake up and pay attention.The reason for writing this review is that it is the only means to give feedback that is visible vs the sad suggestion box .
I had very good experience with bank. Very cooperative and helpful staff specially the girls in operations and remittance deptt .
Staff member’s can’t even help with my online banking query, only 1 staff member knows how to reset online account and he was absent when I visit branch and they booked my appointment to meet with him only and I drove 60km each way to meet him. Rest staff member helpless and keep calling him to solve my problems.but they can’t solve it at all !
