What an atrociously abysmal place. Considering how many coffee shops are in the area, one would think they’d put in a little effort. It wasn’t our first choice, but parking anywhere else in ‘The Village’ was impossible and my elderly Mum is unable to walk far. No greeting when we arrived; so instead of dealing with the staff I used their QR code to order a small cappuccino & a regular latte, as well as 3 small savoury snack items, to ‘dine in’. I received instant confirmation on my phone. After watching 2 ‘workers’ leaning around the coffee machine, doing nothing but chatting about their previous employment places for almost 20 minutes, I finally asked if they had received my order. I was informed bluntly by one that it was, “ready ages ago, it’s on the sign.” Said ‘sign’ was turned away from where we were sitting and there was nothing in the ordering process to indicate we’d receive anything but table service. I went to the counter to collect our ‘dine in’ order in paper cups and a paper bag. No acknowledgment about any misinformation or poor service on their part. Took the lids off the coffee to discover they’d made the coffees the wrong way around. With an eye roll one of the ‘workers’ took the cups and with attitude said, “Sorry. I’ll just fix that.” She returned a few minutes later placing the 2 paper cups on the table and walked away. I don’t think they could have made the coffee servings smaller if they tried, although the price isn’t small. The shop itself was dirty. Considering the number of staff and very few customers it would have been timely to clean tables and chairs, perhaps even sweep the floor. Definitely won’t be returning.
All pastries and sandwiches looked great, but to my surprise, they all looked better than they tasted. We tried a brioche sandwich can't recommend, apricot danish it was fine and sausage roll quite average.
Loved this place but today the whole shop got served their coffees before us even after we complained resulting in cold food. Such a shane, unfortunately won't be back.
Great place to sit and enjoy your coffee, lots of parking outside. The coffee is really good and there are heaps of fresh other options as well, customer service is also very good. There are always places available to sit and relax.nThe barista is really good
Great food always busy so prepare to wait
