Great little park, I've done a few throughout the years with my friends or family visiting from overseas and this one is quite small but not too busy so we could actually see the animals quite well. The staff seemed to know the animals personality and all animals looked healthy and happy. 😄 Lots of kangaroos and koalas. Tasmanian devil feeding was impressive. The penguins were very cute and their population is growing which is great news.

This was so much fun! All the animals are wonderful I hope to get there more throughout the year to experience every show they put on each day. I wish the park was bigger and had more animals :-) I think Ballarat needs to put more money towards the animals and the park updating it and also hiring me would be amazing lol but all seriousness the park charges what they charge as they are a smaller park and need to look after the welfare of the animals as well as keeping qualified staff on.

The enclosures for non-mammals are quite small, but there are plenty of animals to look at and pat. Friendly kangaroos greet you as you enter the park, which is fantastic. There are alpacas and emus roaming as well, but they do not enjoy being touched. The animals in enclosures seem particularly active in the morning, so that may be the best time to go. Overall a really nice place with lots of cool animals, and good to go in the morning.

Where do I begin. The emu that tried to steal my food out of my pocket of course. Cheeky awesome bird! You gave me a fright and I moved very quickly into the reptile park where you ran around and waited for me at the exit but I saw you coming ha ha. I stayed inside and enjoyed the reptiles until you found someone else with food! Ha, I gotcha didn't I? Fed and pet kangaroos to my heart's content. Met little joeys, dingos, koalas, the biggest tortoise ever! A wombat and so much more. I loved this park. Add the friendly staff and this is a must see and do.

Very Impressed - Visited with Children 08/10/2017 and did not expect much. Entrance fee seemed pricey, but after seeing the animals and park it is worth every cent. Easy access, the animals are well cared for and some big surprises are there to see. Fantastic day out. Would recommend to anyone wanting to actually see a koala, kangaroo, emu, penguin, huge crocodile and yes you actually have interaction with them,(Not the crocodile). The Melbourne zoo had this feature but it is no more. Well done enjoyed the whole experience.
