Sadly, their prices go up every year, even if you never had a damage to your glider. No chance to negotiate prices. Prices are not transparent, so you have to call one of their agents who then rings you back and you pretty much have to accept the deal. Don't get me wrong. Their service is friendly, but their price structure is not ok. I'd had to pay 4x more insurance than I had to pay in Europe. Of course the aviation market is bigger in Europe, but these days insurances operate internationally anyway. So, I guess once another insurer from abroad turns up on the scene, the aviation insurance market here will be mixed up anyway and I am actually looking forward to it. More competition means better and fairer prices, better choice and options.
Similar experience to Elly, only without the friendly service. Surprisingly arrogant I found, including a bait and switch tactic with a group policy.
Amazing service, worked very hard to get us a great policy. Do yourself a favour and contact them and take the pain out of aviation insurance.
