I needed to swap my interstate membership to RACQ and from the store manager to the lady who served me was second to none! After thinking I needed to prove my own history over the last 15 years to swap over they asked a few questions and I got gold based on my old mate lets face it after this long married needed some kick back! :- I was only a few years off gold anyway but the fact they looked into our history a little bit more was above and behond. Thanks Michelle. Sometimes face to face is so much easier than phone or 'chat'.

Message to those who are vulnerable and living with a disability. Stay clear from these guys unless you want to be discriminated against. I got discriminated against from the Springfield Orion branch last year all to find out they were in the wrong and they did not follow the correct procedures. A simple sorry doesn’t fix what they did so I now name and shame these people for what they did to me.

I am not too sure about their procedures when it comes to "claims". I went to this store as I had few questions and mislead by claims people earlier . Their answer was "I am not trained on claims, better contact claims department ". My car was hit by a 3rd party, and I have lodged a claim 3 weeks ago. That time they said they will handle it. After a week nothing has happened, so I called back! They said, we don't handle it, it should be from 3rd party as you have got only a fire and theft not comprehensive. "You are being misinformed, we will investigate this and get back to you" they said. Now it's two weeks, wasn't heard back since, so I visited store. Store says we just sell insurance, not trained on claims!!! Oh yeah that's true! They get money, that's all. It is more than 3 weeks since the accident and nothing has done. Well, I pay insurance to get a claim if I need, but store people do nothing about claims and their claims department mislead me when it comes to a claim, is this service useful? Time to rethink about my all Insurance's with RACQ!
My family feels let down by RACQ - me - member for 29 years, paid my premiums, hardly ever used the service, achieved 'gold' status - it means nothing. Son - member since 1st day he got his license. Let me assure you, my son needed assistance in the middle of the night, stuck on the highway, miles from home, RACQ cited 'policies' that meant shell out more cash before we'll assist him. "One free tow" - forget it - only if you upgrade - more bucks later. Son - stranded in the dark, me - on phone - listening to 'policies' that simply put, meant pay more or we won't help? Very unimpressed, do not recommend.
We have been using RACQ insurance for our cars and home. I have nothing but positive things to say about them. Their service is top notch and staff are extremely well trained and well mannered. I sent an email today at 7.40 am enquiring about something on our account and received a call back at 8.30 from one of their Brisbane-based staff member. There are many insurances to choose from but we will stick with RACQ as they are just so easy to deal with and efficient.
Stay away!!!! I had a massive oil leak in the middle of the road and couldn't start the car, thought they would tow it Coz I had premium membership! But they didn't do anything!!!!!!! Said they don't tow it when it's an Oil leak! So basically they get to decide if my car is going to be towed or not!! Very disappointing and asked me for 300 bucks for the tow, I got my car towed by a guy off gumtree for 70 bucks!! Useless this service is!
Extremely happy with customer service at this store.They are often very busy but the staff take the time to answer all questions and offer paperwork and information about services for you to take home and read.Can definitely recommend this store for all Racq enquiries.
Went here with my Brother to have a number of queries answered. The staff were most helpful and efficient in answering all queries and helping with our objectives. Great customer service.
