Flight Centre Toowong

What a con job! Booked a luxury holiday in NT and payed for it via credit card after receiving itinerary. Got a call back five minutes later saying that the accommodation the she had supposedly just organized was now not available but we could stay in DORMITORY instead! We said no thanks please cancel the booking. So they said ok and refunded most of the money less $55. There was no mention of a cancellation fee and we would not have agreed to pay it anyway as it was flight centers mistake. We only saw the $55 fee when checking our bank statement. Rang flight center and was told by the branch manager it wasn't their fee it was the banks fee but after arguing for ten minutes found out it was their banks fee not ours. If you stuff your customers around you shouldn't then charge them for the privilege! Finally got flight centre to refund the $55 charge after demanding to speak to the her (branch managers) superior. Seems like it is flight centers policy to make customers pay for flight centers mistakes. Don't recommend.

The guys at Flight Centre in Toowong went out of their way to help out. I have a few special requirements and they were very happy to oblige. Thanks guys.
