Shocking customer service. A difficult situation where I was denied collecting my package because I had provided the wrong ID. Rather than being sympathetic it had been a very difficult journey for me to get to the post office, I had expressed this to the staff the staff member and the manager were rude, sarcastic and sassy and unsympathetic with their responses to me. I understand working in a post office can’t be a particularly stimulating job, but when your primary role is customer service, speaking like that to your customers is unacceptable. Unfortunately I didn’t get the staff member’s name, but I hope she receives further training in customer service and what not to say when you have an emotional and upset customer to deal with.
In my experience the staff here are friendly, helpful and very patient! I visit about once a week and I've seen a lot of awful customers who treat the staff terribly. So many customers get angry and abusive just because the mail has rules and processes? Like, yeah, you can't just stick a return parcel into the mail without a return label from the seller, and yes, you can't just send items internationally without taking a few more minutes to fill out a declaration form for the goods. I've seen the staff repeatedly, patiently explaining things to customers who just refuse to listen or who think the rules don't apply to them! And then, after dealing with all this, the staff will still offer me a smile and a friendly hello when I'm next in line. Incredible! I don't know how they do it! I commend their dedication to the job and I appreciate their hard work.
The team at this branch have been nothing but exceptional in the 10 years Ive used it as my local P.O! Personable, friendly and accommodating on a daily basis, and efficient to a fault. I think some of the bed-wetting cry-babies leaving scathing reviews on google need to adjust their expectations a little... having worked in forward-facing roles in the public sector myself, you often get what you give. Im sad I'll be moving away from the area in the following weeks... Rachael, Jared, Tiffany, Helinda, Richard and the whole crew: you will be missed!!
When is this Asian woman who is rude and no emphatic towards customers going to resign? Her disgusting behaviour is tarnishing your organisation. She needs training big time. I beg you to rectify this issue urgently.
My parcel was delivered to here after it was not delivered to my hotel as requested citing “wrong or incomplete address given”. My hotel address was clearly stated, idk what excuse this is but it wasted a lot of my time corresponding with the sender and aus post. Aus post refused to resend my parcel to my hotel and also refused my request to send to a nearer post office from my hotel 550m instead of this 1.4km away, asking me to pay additional charges to do so. So ridiculous when they made a mistake in the first place. Eventually my sender resent a new parcel to my hotel, saving me time and money I would have wasted if I had continued corresponding with australia post.
Very ridiculous!!! 9:17am I got messages said my delivery coming today then9:38am I got messages again said no one at home the package send to collection centre I have to pickup by myself … how?! Whole time I’m awake and waited at home no one knocked the door or press door bell. This kind of thing happens so many times! deliverers NEVER call on the intercom. They ALWAYS deliver parcels straight to the post office. That’s about 13kg package I have to carry them walk two streets to home. If people can pick up by themselves why they need ask delivery! you don’t want do your job that’s your problem, shouldn’t put your problem to persecute someone else.
I come here regularly. The staff here are decent, but they are a little less lenient with photo IDs when it comes to parcel collection. Tiffany is great though, always polite and ready to be of service.
After receiving time and time again the same incompetent service from the same lady, named Heilinda/Helinda, I need to leave this review. I don‘t even know where to start, so I will choose just from my recent experience with her. I came in to bring back a return. I have the return label pre made AND pre paid. She just had to scan the QR code, print out the label and slap it on the parcel. Firstly she asks me if that was my parcel after I walked in with it :D Secondly after scanning that QR code, she wants me to fill in all my details in again! I explained to her that this is a pre made label with all of my details and it’s not the first time I do a return and she’s the first one to demand it. This QR code exists to make her and the customers job EASIER! I usually receive lovely service from your staff in that branch but, please give her more training. When I saw she will be the one serving me next in like I was thinking to myself „ here we go again“
All of the reviews about this place are correct. They are just plain rude. It’s my local post office so I have to go there but whenever I can avoid it I will. They find any excuse to avoid having to serve you.
The most miserable looking staff you can encounter at any given time on any given day. Frequently closed counter for parcel collection so have to que. The policy to collect with a printed statement rather than being able to show the same document from your phone highlights why this is the most backward service in Australia and why the majority of customers rate you 1*
