Usually a waiting line of people, plan ahead if you are busy! The staff are pretty helpful with postage related matters. People tend to line up out the door, right across the shopping centre walkways blocking other shoppers entering and leaving the carpark exit. I would suggest putting some yellow 'line up here' stickers on the floor next to the wall so people line up to the side. Peace out!
The delivery contractor guy from Post Australia in Riverhills 4074 name “Shorna” he is really a best person. Not with a single delivery, I observed him with delivery for last 4-5 months, he always care for the delivery item. I really appreciate his hard work and dedication.
There has to be a better way ..... you stand in line forever while people do passports just to collect a parcel.... how about a dedicated parcel collect point and dedicated passport area and book one pers at a time...
Shorna from Australia post who deliver in Riverhills mainly large items, is really awesome. He is the first I have seen always try to make sure if someone is at home or not to deliver post on hand. A hard working person like him should be always rewarded.
I recently renewed my passport here and the lady that helped me was amazing. It was really busy and passports take a while to get done but she didn't get stressed and was very patient, helpful and kind.
2 Jul-22 There were at least 3 shop assistants working today. I think there was another lady that was the boss of them. I ended up waiting for 30 mins only to be told that they are busy and cannot process my passport application. I noticed they were taking photos of other customers at the time. I also told them i had my photos taken already. Anyway the lady said sorry you have to come back on Monday. That was 11.30am. I went back at 12.15pm,15 mins before they close on Saturday. There were absolutely no customers and 3 ladies just sitting around. I asked again. The boss lady told the other lady that they are not going to do my passport application. Note this office does not accept appointments either. Let's say I don't believe this is a good customer service. Highly disappointed of the whole experience.
Find a real post office that cares. Didn’t want to take my large parcel saying it was oversized. It was less than allowed size.
As other dozens of reviews have stated, this auspost refuses to provide basic services they are registered for and advertise online. The women here always seem to be on a petty power trip refusing photo services, passport services, document witnessing services, postal services etc at their whim for no valid reason. Lazy and rather miserable bunch of people whose only source of feeling important in life is by refusing valid services australiapost exists for. Avoid at all costs.
Was waiting in the queue for at least 30 mins to lodge a child passport application only to be told they don’t accept passport application as they were closing in 5 minutes and to come back on Monday. Not their fault but wish I was advised earlier and not wasting 30mins of my time lining up. Staff was friendly though.
The worker at the post office literally made up un-needed documentation for a child passport application. He decided that we needed proof of address where it doesn't state it is needed anywhere on the application. It was very frustrating not being able to lodge the application when I had visited as I had my kids with me and it can be very difficult to leave the house with 2 small children in tow. I should have realised that he would be difficult when he questioned the acceptability if the passport picture which had been taken at the same post office the week before.
