Definitely don’t stay here if you don’t want your privacy invaded. There are 2 binoculars at the Melbourne Skydeck which point directly at this building and you can see perfectly into all of the rooms and bathrooms on the sides that they face as the windows aren’t tinted. I was looking through the binoculars and literally saw someone in the bathroom…… Maybe put some blinds in there or at least warn the people staying there that anyone can see straight in. Seems very intrusive
It's a great place. Wonderful views. However, not great for the ears. First off, you must constantly be yawning when in the elevator to pop your ears. Secondly, just about every single door in the room creaks. And I swear if you don't tiptoe everywhere the floorboards croak like a dead frog.
Whatever you do, do not stay here if you value your privacy. Our family was sent CCTV photographs of us entering the lift. We also were given no instructions about how to dispose of rubbish and when we did we were given a $250 fine for supposedly disposing of it incorrectly although we put it down the rubbish chute. The rubbish room was filthy and cockroach infested. This was also a CCTV photograph that was sent to us. For 24 hours we had no access to the toilet in our apartment. There wasn’t enough bedding. There was no cooking equipment. It was really a dreadful experience. It may be well situated but it’s got nothing else going for it.
Pros:nGreat atmosphere and views, great location to get to where you need to go.nnCons: wasn’t allowed to use the amenities and facilities for “short term stays” I did pay the company their money so I should be entitled to the pool at least.nnThat’s the only negative thing to say
We have just spent 2 nights at clix 108 and I have no idea what all the negative reviews were about so will add my commentsnCheck in is in the same street 180 meters from the property address, we received a txt prior with clear description of how to find it then a 2 min walk max.nYou have their contact number and can get anything you need.nThe staff at checking could not have been more helpfulnThe place was spotless and clean and everything you need to cook if you wanted to.nThe security deposit was returned before we got home.nnAnd the views which we were hoping for were fantastic.nAs was the location to get to arts precinct and southbanknnI would 100% stay there again
