Let me start off by saying the quality of the product would be 3.5 stars. It looks great but we did have a couple of quality issue that bring it down. These should not be too difficult to fix. This brings me to the rating of 2 stars in total. Our after service experience with Austrack has been poor to say the least. They have very poor (almost no) communication. It started with the pick up. All formalities out of the way, signing docs etc and go out the back for the handover when I notice that the boat rack is not installed. After pointing this out to them I was informed that there was a quality issue with the racks and they chose not to install it. That's fine with me but a heads up would have been nice. We get the camper home, open it up and during the look around notice a couple of minor issues. One of the canvas slides has come out and caused the stitching in one part to come undone. The rear water pump also blew off a hose that filled the little compartment with water completely submersing the pump itself. Contacted Austrack (on the weekend) to arrange for the canvas to be fixed which they were happy to do. Dropped it off the following Friday morning and showed the guys the canvas slide that was out and the damaged stitching. They said they could do it but didn't want to rush the job. I was happy to leave it with them for a week and collect it the following Friday. Didn’t want a poor quality repair. On the following Friday I called them to make sure it was done only to find out it wasn’t. No call to say it hadn't or they couldn't do it. No contact at all. I was then told it wouldn't be done in time because they were too busy setting up for the expo. This was the point I got rather angry. I told them it had to be fixed because we had plans to use it over the weekend. This was going to be the second time they had messed up our plans. I was forceful and angry but did not swear or threaten anyone. I told them I would be there in the afternoon to collect and if it wasn't done they could either give me back my money or give it to me so I could get it fixed elsewhere at their expense. I then had a call from the owner saying he didn't like me threatening his staff. I told him at no stage did I threaten his staff and that he had to understand my frustration. I got the impression he didn't really care. He told me repeatedly that they pride themselves on quality but I have photos that prove that their standards are not as high as they make out. Finally get the camper back. One of the staff has hand stitched the canvas back up. In terms of the quality of the work, he did a good job. In terms of how long they had the camper to do it properly it was average at best. After getting it home and opening it up we noticed that the canvas is still not in the slide (before we tried to open it up again). To save the hassle I just fixed it myself. I also noticed various misaligned screws, screws not securing anything, brackets/stops with cut off edges which are sharp. I have photos of all the issues. My advice to anyone about to collect an Austrack camper, be aware and don't let them fool you. Do a full inspection at the walk around, make sure they open it up completely to allow you to inspect. If you have any issues that require them to repair, hound them like a dog. This was my mistake. I trusted they would do the work and they didn't. My advice to anyone looking at a camper, go elsewhere.

I purchase my simpson trailer from the NSW Distributor in Armidale in late January 2018. The trailer looks fantastic and I am more than pleased with the final product. Austrack Campers have great products, fast delivery (got trailer within one month of ordering it ) and great service. In fact I would recommend anyone looking for a camping trailer in NSW to give Jeremy a call (NSW Distributor). The customer service of this distributor is second to none. Jeremy was extremely friendly, responsive to my calls and follow ups and just a great bloke to deal with (which is rare these days especially in Sydney). I now know why Austrack Campers have great on line reviews. Highly recommend this company and distributor

These guys are great. The quality is excellent and the price very reasonable. They stand by their products and are not afraid to replace or change whatever it is you specially need. We took a long time to research and purchase a camper trailer but found these guys were the best in SE Queensland.
