Generally, I like this airport as it was clean and organized. But for an international airport,  it is not big enough. I believe it can still be expanded given the growing number of tourists in NZ. I do commend the authority for setting up free water refilling station to discourage people from buying bottled water.

Landing, entry control and and baggage claim normal. I was able to buy a suitable SIM card right afterwards - friendly and helpful advice.

I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for the exceptional service provided by Laylana, a ground staff member at Auckland Airport, working for Hainan Airlines. She was incredibly kind and professional while helping my mother with her boarding pass and other procedures. Laylana’s patience and willingness to assist made the experience smooth and stress-free. We are truly grateful for her excellent service and warm attitude. Thank you, Hainan Airlines, for having such dedicated and thoughtful staff!
