Only tall people can see the view as vegetation is growing up high. As a viewing point its not well marked or much parking allowed. As a scenic drive its disapointing

A good lookout. It is kind of dangerous as fast cars drive pass.

One of many. Because Auckland is on an isthmus you generally get views of the water. It's so spread out far and wide.

Scenic drive is a challenging but rewarding road bicycle ride. Be mindful of motorised traffic and do not ride 2 abreast!
